Year End Plans 2008

Better start having some plans.

Pls vote for the following (more big picture first)
1) Venue: Overseas or Local or Don't matter [ For overseas it will be short trip-just over the week end] (Prob can go Batam?)
Option 1 for Local: Rasa Sentosa Suite 883 nett for 31st to 1st Jan 2009, 706 nett for 3rd and 4th Jan. Priemier Duluxe Rm 664 nett for 27th to 28thDec
Overseas option : pending...
sling: has no issues where we go..
jieming: anywhere is ok with me
Jeff: no preference on venue, if wanna nuah like wat we did at batam also can haha (erm bro, we went bintan)
Ka Yin: no issue on venue
Alvin: prefers local. if sentosa, we can go catch late night movie at vivocity, then take train back sentosa and nua. everything also at our fingertips.
Sin Hui: anywhere is fine
2) Length of stay: 2D1N, 3D2N Confirmed to be 2D1N
sling: depending on WHEN we going, if not has no issues with the duration..
jieming: hopefully 2D1N cos i still on probation, cannot take leave =(
Jeff: no limit =p
Ka Yin: okie... 2D1N over the weekend is great
Alvin: no issue
Sin Hui: 2D1N bah
3) Budget: [$100, Under $200, Others] -incl overseas
sling: has no issues with it, whatever amount that is the most cost effective for our plans..
jieming: not too expensive can le
Jeff: no issue, agree with sling on the cost effectiveness. Alvin seconds this
Ka Yin: no comments
Sin Hui: am ok
4) Date: a) 6th-7th Dec, b) 13th-14th Dec, c) 20th-21st Dec, d) 27th-28th Dec or e) 1st-4th Jan( if you ppl are not working on 2nd)
sling: d) 27th/28th dec or e) 1st/4th jan..
jieming: i dunno...
Yimei: 20 dec is occupied otherwise okay
Jeff: mid-Nov to 18 Dec. After 18 Dec will need to play by ear.
Huina: I have classes almost all sat and sun. Only d) and e) for me. Paiseh...(not working but still occupied)
Ka Yin: c) d) is fine with me...
Alvin: no issue for now, but i need to know early.. so i can take leave.
Sin Hui: a,c or d
Next please give suggestions on gift exchange ideas. Since we always have people getting gifts that costs more than the set amount already, I suggest that we have no limit but bear in mind that we are friends for more than a decade (ha ha)
sling: since we at times dont know what to do.. suggest we can have a game of BINGO and integrate the gift exchange into it.. number tagged all our gifts (they will be the prizes to be won).. the winner of the bingo game will get a chance to lucky dip, the number u pick out will be ur gift.. and the winner can continue to be in the game, but if happens to win will not have a chance to lucky dip, so bingo game will carry on till the next winner emerged (who havent lucky dip yet)..
Huina: sling's idea sounds great. i have a game set that is similar to bingo. called LOTTO. Ha ha some old sch game (in my hse for as long as i can remember). alternatively if we not playing games, we can do something very christmasy. Everyone pass me a large stocking or something like a stocking in advance. I will hang it on the venue. Whoever arrives first will choose the stocking to put the present in. then we can open up together after our dinner. (PS: no stinky sock pls) oh and socks may be spoilt after squeezing in present. So don't expect to use the sock.
