I have booked for 5 adults (the so-called max capacity).. so thereafter we have to be "discrete" in our movements in and out of the place... hahahah.. and not be discovered...

NEWS FLASH!! chalets are fully booked... so i guess we need to gather our thoughts on our preference the soonest to get things done........

This year's theme is [Back to School]. That means from gift exchange idea (pre-drawing lots for the person to present your gift), food items of potluck and other things are to be planned in accordance to our Old School Theme.

rogering to being tasked to check out the service apartments rates.. here goes..

st regis is more costly than somerset.. and dont offer short term stay... so i thk somerset still suits our requirements and budget a little better..

somerset has various locations but am suggesting the one at liang court - comparing it to orchard and grand cairnhill branch (not considering bencoolen and compass branches)... it's cheapest, floor space biggest and best nicely located...

Huina: But this time we have like boys and gals (unlike the hen party). may need to take into acct if they may boot us out in the middle of the nite. hee hee

also suggesting we get the 2-bedrm dlx, rate ranging ard SGD300...

another option is chalet.. since the theme for this year is OLD SKOOL... guess it fits the theme to the tee... thk is where we had our first AGM too rite??? the apartment style with 2bedrms (next to downtown east, cant rem the name.. pling what was the name ah?) would be able to accomodate all of us comfortably...

Huina: I can't remember where is the first one. Anyway are you referring to coata sands? Anyway this yeari kinda want to get away from town and be at a more relaxing place. If we have a large enough group maybe can consider getting those from the visually handicap to come and do shoulder massage and/or foot reflex.

Ka Yin: Chalet!! Yes! Yes! (So sorry for missing the gathering previously... bx's dog had an leg amputation operation on that day so i had to be with him n the dog... so sad i missed such an interesting discussion... 'Back to School' theme is too cool!! haha)

Ka Yin: hmm... I will make Coca Cola Chicken Wings and maybe tuna sandwich if there's no carbo stuff from others... (haha... a person who will die if there's no carbo stuff... haiz... like that how to slim down... -.-!)
Siling: i will make fried bee hoon and fish/sotong ball... old school enough??? heez... huina if u need the choco fondue container n burner set with the fork, i have.. just let me know if u need..


Jeff and Mei: Mei will be learning how to prepare popiah from her mum haha, old school rite! As for me, I will be making shepherd pie =)

Zewei: Sorry for the late posting...i dunno how to make anything except instant noodles la...haha...will buy otar from Jalan Kayu...probably 30 pieces...enuff?

Alvin: Hi people! so sorry i haven't been online for soooo long. I will bring loads of old-school tidbits k! I know i should be bringing dinner-ish stuff instead but i can't think of anything homecooked that i can cook up except instant noodles in mess tin and i dont think we want that!! And just to notify I will be arriving after my service around 7 plus kk!

Jieming: hey peeps, i will be going to my cousin's wedding on that day, so if u all have anything in the afternoon, i can join u all first.. at nite, i will only reach at around 11 plus i guess, sooo if u all dun mind, can i bring drinks for u guys??? haha... or maybe ice cream or sth... spare me...
